With summer in full effect here in the Valley and across the country, families are taking this time to travel, grill up some delicious barbecue, and hang out around the pool. Because of the extreme heat here in Arizona, many kids are tempted to cool off with sugary snacks like ice cream, freeze-pops, and a refreshing glass of soda, which is why Arizona pediatrics encourage families to promote healthy options for the summer.
We here at Kidtastic have put together a list of some of our all-time favorite healthy snacks to ensure you and your family are staying in tip-top shape all summer long. Enjoy!
