Welcome one and all to the 28th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival! The time is upon us once again to don our favorite medieval garb, round up the lads and lassies and venture forth to the Faire! Starting on February 6th and running every weekend through March 27th, the Arizona Renaissance Festival combines 16th Century wares and entertainment in a huge outdoor venue. Here’s more on the 28th season of this fantastical event!
What’s at the 2016 Renaissance Festival?
Celebrating its 28th Season with New Shows, the grounds will be transformed once again into the Village of Fairhaven. Once you walk through the gates, you’re instantly transported back to a simpler time, where you can mingle with over 2,000 characters, eat a giant roasted turkey leg, try your hand at games of chance and cheer on your favorite knight in the joust. While you and your family enjoy crazy village street shenanigans, try the people powered rides, and sample the Pleasure Feast menu, you’ll be surrounded by lots of action and adventure!
Welcome to the Village of Fairhaven!
While you’re perusing, check out the new shops at the Artisan Marketplace, full of foolish pleasures and artisan treasures. The marketplace has over 200 elaborately adorned shops offering an array of medieval goods, including blown glass, premium leather goods, and jewelry. You’ll also have a front row seat for the master artisans creating their pieces right before your eyes!

The 28th Annual Arizona Renaissance Faire will take place once again on the festival grounds, located seven miles East of Apache Junction on US Highway 60. Hours will run from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays as well as President’s Day, February 15th. Pets are not allowed at the event, but parking is free.
