The First Orthodontic Visit for Your Child
It’s ideal for children to have their first orthodontic screening by the age of seven. Early evaluations can help detect potential jaw issues and developmental concerns that may need orthodontic treatment in the future.
During the visit, our dentists will conduct a thorough exam and use diagnostic imaging to assess your child's dental health. Early intervention helps prevent more extensive and costly treatments later on by addressing any concerns promptly.

What Bite Issues Can Invisalign® Treat?
Overcrowding
Large Gaps Between Teeth
Crossbite
Overbite
Underbite
An underbite is the opposite of an overbite, where the lower teeth project further than or completely cover the upper teeth. Over time, this can cause jaw pain, discomfort, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues.
What Are the Benefits of Invisalign Over Traditional Braces?
When deciding between traditional braces and Invisalign® aligners, there are several factors to consider. Invisalign® offers removable aligners, which require more patient discipline but provide several advantages. The aligners are comfortable, nearly invisible, and very popular. Both options can achieve similar results.
Before starting treatment, our orthodontist will create a personalized plan using 3D digital images of the jaw. This technology allows for precise movement of each tooth, different views of the jaw, and a preview of possible facial changes. Invisalign® aligners can even be customized to enhance facial aesthetics.
Once the treatment plan is in place, a set of aligners is created. The number of aligners needed varies, typically ranging from 20 to 29 sets per arch, depending on the complexity of the case.
Key Considerations for Using Invisalign® Aligners
It may take a few weeks to get used to wearing Invisalign® aligners. The trays should be worn consistently, except when eating or drinking. It’s important to remove them during meals to prevent food particles from getting trapped, which could lead to tooth decay.
New aligners are typically needed every two weeks, with visible progress between appointments. Invisalign® has transformed orthodontic treatment by offering a comfortable and effective solution.
