We hope you all had a great holiday with your friends and family! We bet you ate all sorts of delicious treats and had many laughs this year! The fun’s not over though—we still have New Years to celebrate! So how do you have fun with the whole family in the Phoenix metro area?
Check out some of these family friendly events!
The Phoenix Zoo is really the “coolest” place to go for New Years, especially for little ones who probably won’t make it till midnight. From 9am-noon you can play in real snow, there’s even a special area for toddlers! Radio Disney will also be there to provide some toe-tapping tunes from your favorite stars! Parents just pay the regular admission price and get all these activities free!
Mesa Golfland will be hosting a fun party complete with video games, a DJ, and even a balloon drop at midnight! If you’re looking to go even more extreme, Castles n’ Coasters is open from noon until 5am on New Years Day!
Looking to jump start your fitness goals? Check out the Midnight Madness walk and run which starts at 10:30pm! Each age group (even 12 and under) is able to place if they wish to run! Food, fun, and door prizes will be available, to sign up: visit the Midnight Madness race site.
Burton Barr, Mesquite, and Palo Verde Libraries will all have an event from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on New Years eve. Open to the public, this event features music, crafts, dance performances!
If your kids have a more enthusiastic idea with how to spend their New Years, Scottsdale Gymnastics is hosting a New Years sleepover kid party! With certified chaperones, kids can stay till 1am or even 9am on New Years day! Complete with dinner, games, prizes and a continental breakfast–everyone is bound to have a good time!
