The term brace faces has always been thought of in a negative light, but some kids don’t fully appreciate how cool a metal mouth can be. Yes, it may sound crazy, but there have been plenty of other famous brace faces in recent years.
Many fans of One Direction will be happy to learn that Niall Horan only recently had his braces removed, resulting in that trademark smile. Niall and his bandmates have since taken the world by storm, something a set of braces couldn’t prevent.
Speaking of talented artists who sported braces, American Idol Season 7 winner Fantastia Barrino wore braces the following year. Reports indicate the singer can still often be seen wearing a retainer, showing off she isn’t afraid to flaunt the metal mouth despite her newfound fame.
It seems there was no quick fix when it came to straightening teeth in Hermoine’s spellbook– the actress Emma Watson who appeared throughout the Harry Potter saga sported braces as recently as 2005. Today Ms. Watson can commonly be found donning her new pearly whites all over blockbuster films and fashion magazines.
Older stars still sport braces all the time. Singer Gwen Stefani has worn braces much throughout her life although she claims it was purely a choice of style. That’s right, even style innovators like Gwen Stefani find the metal look to be fashionable!
