American POP! Comic Books to Science Fiction
Located at the Tempe Center for the Arts on 700 West Rio Salado Parkway in the heart of Tempe, ASU’s Center for Science and the Imagination will be hosting the “American POP! Comic Books To Science Fiction” exhibit. Taking a look at how science fiction and popular culture has inspired and effected our everyday lives, the American POP! exhibit is completely free and completely awesome. Wingstock: Where Music & Chicken Meat
With live music, contests, and of course chicken wings, Wingstock is one of Mesa’s biggest events of the year. With the purchase of a ticket and chicken wing coupons, visitors can check out some of the best wings from across the valley. Kids can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt and parents can even register to participate in the Wing Eating Contest! Arizona Rattlers vs. Pittsburg Power
Arena football fans unite! Four-time champions Arizona Rattlers will be taking on the Pittsburg Power at the US Airways Center in the heart of Downtown Phoenix. If you have never been to an arena football game, you’re missing out, especially with our home team. With star QB, Nick Davila, the Arizona Rattlers are definitely a team to watch out for this season. This game could also very well be a preview of what’s to come in this season’s Arena Bowl, so buy your tickets today!
Spring Butterfly Exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden
Come and enjoy some of the most beautiful insects in the world at the Desert Botanical Gardens located right next to the Phoenix Zoo at 1201 North Galvin Parkway. From 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, visitors can experience one of the coolest exhibits at the DBG, while incredible winged bugs fly across the enclosed exhibit drinking nectar and soaking in the wonderful Arizona sun.
