Meet Dr. Sonya Sharma
(DMD), MPHDr. Sonya Sharma was born in Orange County, CA. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, she attended Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, AZ, where she further obtained a dual-degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Public Health. She then furthered her training at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan for two additional years to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Sharma met her husband, who is also a Pediatric Dentist, in dental school. After they both completed their specialized training in pediatric dentistry, they got married and started a family here in Arizona. They have a son, a daughter and a Yorkshire Terrier.
Dr. Sharma is looking forward to serving the community and is committed to providing the same care and respect that she does for her own family. Her goal is to create a warm environment to allow your child to better understand the importance of oral health in a happy, friendly and trusting manner in order to create a foundation to last a lifetime.
Dr. Sharma is Board Certified by the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
